If our playing conditions do not bring out the best in you, then surely our
competitive golfer’s will. Wedgwood has always been the place to “find a
game.” Our members play golf and lots of it. You don’t have to look far to
find your next match or foursome. More impressive however, is the quality of
golfer Wedgwood attracts. Since the 1970’s Wedgwood has had its fair share of
top amateurs who have competed and won at various levels, not to mention
numerous notable appearances. In recent years, Wedgwood players have captured
The Gloucester County Amateur, The South Jersey Golf Association Amateur, and
Philadelphia Pub-Links just to name a few.
As a member of the Golf Association Of Philadelphia since 2002, Wedgwood’s GAP
Teams have enjoyed unparalleled success in their respective divisions; in fact,
2007 saw Wedgwood’s 1st Team achieve what no other public course, before or
since, has achieved when they won their way into the prestigious Double “A”
Division Bracket of GAP’s Team Matches. GAP Membership has also allowed our
players to compete in the highly respected and contentious top quality annual
events hosted by America's oldest golf association.
In 2000, Wedgewood opened an additional 9 holes accross the road from the
original 18 hole course. This additional 9 holes offers our patrons more
variety and features long holes, tight lies, and holes guarded by bunkers front
and back.
Our location is just a short drive from the Poconos and Philadelphia. Reading
is just 25 minutes driving time. We are 15 minutes from the New Jersey border.
Our Pro Shop features a full line of clothing. Custom club fitting from Titleist,
Cobra and Ping.
